Working closely together to support you to finish and publish your book.
All the support, skills & techniques you need to help you go from initial idea to published book.
Mentoring: A mentor sits alongside you as you write your book, helping to guide you through the process, keep you accountable and give you all the skills and techniques you need to write a compelling book, including tools to get you over any bumps in the road.
You can apply for the mentoring programme if you’re fully committed to finishing your book. If writing your book is what drives you, even if you don’t yet have an idea of what kind of book you want to write. If you’re not sure, book a call and we can discuss with you whether this is a worthy investment for you at this time, if you decide then that you’re ready to go and there is an available slot, you will be accepted onto the programme. If on the other hand you’re not quite ready we can guide you to the steps you can take to get you to where you want to be with your writing goals.
It doesn’t matter if you have no idea of the book you want to write or you have a detailed outline for your book, all you have to do to get started in the mentoring programme is to decide whether you want to take up to 12 months or 6 months and you’ll be on your way to having your book in your hands.
Writing a book is hard work, it takes courage to create a whole book, that’s why the programme includes all aspects of the process to make sure you stay on track, stay accountable and achieve your goals. If you’re ready to get started
Once you’re accepted onto the programme you will begin with an assessment that will help you discover the best route for you to take as you work your way through the process of writing your book.
The simple answer is no. The course will help and guide you with everything you need to finish your book but - yes there's a but - you have to bring along your commitment, courage and dedication. However, the course will give you techniques and practices to strengthen your resolve to finish your book.
The basic answer is no. We don’t get you an agent, you do that. But we do help you approach agents and publishers with a publication submission that has been fully edited to give your book its best chance for success. We can also work with you to self-publish if this is the route you decide to take.
We will always work with you to ensure that you are happy and comfortable with your progress and be there for you when things don’t seem to be going your way. However great the programme is we also understand that it may not be for everyone. Hopefully we’ll have made sure this doesn’t happen at your initial assessment and evaluation. If you do decide that you want to pull out of the programme we will of course be sad to see you go. You’ll find our cancellation policy here
Life is hectic and can be overwhelming at times and all of this can get in the way of our writing commitment. The programme has safeguards in place to help you get over any bumps in the road and we will collaborate with you to find ways to solve any problems that arise for you. But if you fall behind and it’s unlikely you’ll meet your deadline you have nothing to worry about, we will continue to work with you with exactly the same commitment and dedication until you’ve finished your book at no extra cost. We will work with you to set a new deadline and help get you back on track. As long as you remain committed to finishing, we remain committed to helping you finish. If you are not able to finish by your second deadline we will discuss with you what happens next. At this point, we retain the right to reduce our level of support or end our support with the provision that you may return to the programme at a future date at a heavily reduced rate.
